  • 10 hamburger buns

  • 2 baking sheets



  • 2 cups tomato sauce

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup

  • 5 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon of thyme


  • 1 cup of sunflower oil


  • Take the minced meat in a suitable container.

  • Add the grated onions and crushed garlic.

  • Crack an egg and knead it by hand for a while.

  • Then add the cumin, black pepper and salt.

  • Finally, add the breadcrumbs and knead by hand until you get a good consistency. (You can increase or decrease the breadcrumbs.)

  • Put the prepared meatballs to rest in the fridge. Meanwhile, start preparing the sauce in which you will dip the hamburger buns.

  • Take olive oil in a large saucepan and heat it a little.

  • Add the tomato sauce and ketchup to the olive oil that has started to heat and mix.

  • Add the crushed garlic to the tomato sauce.

  • When the sauce starts to boil, add the sugar, black pepper, thyme and salt.

  • Take large pieces of the rested meatball mortar and shape them with your hands so they are flat and round.

  • In another pan, heat the sunflower oil and fry the meatballs on both sides. Transfer the cooked meatballs to a plate.

  • Wet the baking papers well with plenty of water and remove the water.

  • Place the soaked baking paper in a pot of rice.

  • Prepare the burgers and coat the burger buns with sauce all over.

  • Put the hamburgers with the sauce you have prepared in the pan with greaseproof paper.

  • Cover the pot and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

  • Serve hot.
